A resin with a long history
Shilajit is a sticky, dark resin that seeps out of mountain rock, best known from the Himalayas. It forms over a long time from plant matter breaking down and has been part of Ayurveda for centuries.

Shilajit was the pot of resin in our gym bag. We included it so it could sit alongside lion’s mane and sea moss in one daily capsule.

How do I take it?
One capsule a day, or as directed by your health care professional. The label doesn’t set a time, so pick one you’ll stick to, like with breakfast.
How long does a bottle last?
There are 60 capsules. At one a day, that’s 60 days.
Why do some brands show bigger numbers?
Some labels use an extract ratio to show an equivalent amount. For example, 300 mg of a 20:1 extract can be described as 6,000 mg. The Supplement Facts panel on our label lists the weight of each ingredient in one capsule: 400 mg, 100 mg and 50 mg.
Will I notice a difference?
We don’t promise results. UK rules are strict on supplement claims, and we’d rather not oversell. What we can tell you is exactly what’s in it.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Check the labels for overlapping ingredients. If you take medication, ask your pharmacist or GP first.
Who should check with their GP first?
Pregnant or nursing mothers, people under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should follow the label cautions above. Seaweed naturally contains iodine, so check with your GP if you have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medication. If you take prescription medication, check with your GP first.
Is it vegan?
The label carries a Vegan mark and lists a vegetable capsule.
Is it tested for sport?
It isn’t certified under a sport testing scheme such as Informed Sport. If you’re tested in competition, only use products that are.
